As much as I want to have no makeup every single day, I can't deny the fact that I have rednesses, acne scars and pores that need to be covered up. However, I insist that school is a place where I ban all the luxury fashion items and heavy makeup as we are just students. I'm not too keen on being an over-rated person. Therefore, to cover my blemishes as well as to be ordinary, these are my essentials.
Facial Moisture Lotion with SPF25 by Soap & Glory
Big hot sun and UVA/UVB can damage your skin unnoticeably. If you don't want to get an aging face or freckles, you need to put on a sunscreen.
Oil-free Pro-Primer by NARS
To make your pores invisible and let your foundation/concealer glides on smoothly on your face, a primer is a must. Oil-free formula is also a plus for oily/combination skin though I have dry and sensitive skin. Works ok on me!
Face Fabric (color : 1) by Giorgio Armani
Never opt for a high coverage foundation since I don't want people to notice that I have makeup on. This Face Fabric by Giorgio Armani is just the best. It barely has any coverage but can help me balance my discoloration of my face. *in terms of the super light coverage, definitely not for people with loads of blemishes.
Touche Eclat (2.5) by Yves Saint Laurent
Don't choose any highlighter with shimmers in it even it is just subtle shimmers. So as to pop out your features, the touche eclat is your best buddy. *also put it under the eyes to cover the dark circles.
Concealer brush by MAC
Just to blend in the touche eclat nicely and precisely.
Pencil Liner by Dolly Wink
Use the pencil liner on the water line to make you look more energetic. I recently discovered this Dolly Wink pencil liner. It is super cheap and super easy to use. Also, it is smudge proof and waterproof! What more can you ask for?
Lipstick (cashmere coral) by & other stories
I heart this lipstick so much. I didn't really like it at first but I recently found out that this is a perfect nude lipstick although it looks like a pastel peach. Very glossy and just tone down my original lips' color a little bit. Not too exaggerating! Love!
